Au Clair de la Lune

Au Clair de la Lune is a nice little French folk song, and it’s one of the pieces I use to teach a foreign language song in second and third grades. If you just use the first two phrases (as I do in second grade), you can treat the song like any other pentatonic song, but the third phrase contains a ti. Playing the song in G Major also lends it well to recorders.
