Senjua

Senjua is a lullaby from Ghana about a mother searching for her child. It can be sung in unison or as a round/canon. Entrances happen at one measure separations.

I’ve used the song in third and fourth grade as a vocal and instrumental piece. Transposing the song to the key of C also makes it appropriate for recorder (or the key of G if you feel daring).
